Tim Postell Fine Art

An Evening Delight  op 11 x 14

Hello, I am Tim Postell. Welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy your visit.

If you have any questions, you can contact me at: [email protected] or at 919-810-4680

My work can be viewed in person at my studio at the Village Art Circle. It is located  in downtown Cary North Carolina,

200 S Academy Street, Suite 130, Cary, NC 27511    Hours of operation - Wednesday through Saturday 11 am to 5 pm.

My philosophy on life is the same as the reason I paint: I want to soak up the atmosphere with all my senses and then capture the essence of what I see with my brush. Like Monet, I want to paint the air around the subjects before me. I want to capture those moments between breaths, the sound after a water drop rejoins a puddle, and the instant after a leaf breaks free and begins its journey.

I approach each painting with the intent to allow the viewer to take time to exhale and to rediscover those moments in time that represent tranquility and harmony in their life. My intent is to find beauty in the simplicities of life. My paintings are passageways for ones journey to discovering common grounds that we all share.
